💥 What’s the Big Deal:
The study shows that children from the lowest socio-economic status (SES) quintile enter kindergarten with significantly lower cognitive and non-cognitive skills than peers from the highest SES quintile, gaps of over 1 standard deviation in reading and math for the 2010 cohort 📘.
